The PatrolShield is a UL Level 2/NIJ Level III-A armored shield mounted to the forearm by an adjustable strap with a stabilized tactical flashlight secured perpendicular to the shield working as both a hand grip and tactical light. An adjustable bungee sling is secured to the shield as a means to retain the PatrolShield when not in use. The PatrolShield is for Police or Military use only and gives ballistic protection as a supplement to body armor.

The Patrol Shield offers the following tactical advantages:

• Effective protection for compromised body parts of the face, neck, arm and flank using natural defensive movements.
• Supplemental protection to body armor.
• Impenetrable by most concealable firearm calibers (up to .44 magnum) or knives, clubs, fists and electrically insulated against stun guns or high amperage probe launching devices.
• Deflects chemical sprays, human liquid, bio-materials and more.
• Readily deployable for immediate response to life threatening patrol engagements, active shooter or first responder needs.
• Embedded white light provides readily accessible light for identification, distraction, and engagement. It provides an “on hand” white light that can be used as the alternative to “weapon mounted” lights. (Guns are not an appropriate “handle” for white light during administrative or non-threatening encounters).
• A stable platform for your shooting arm and the embedded tactical light can help to illuminate both threat as well as weapon sights.
• Effective blocking or subject control tool. Mitigates use of high-impact batons and eliminates improper use of large flashlights.
• Increased protection promotes user confidence when confronting suspects armed with weapons other than firearms. Increased confidence gives time for improving judgment, proper assessment of facts and ACCEPTABLE use of force response.
• Supplemental shield for SWAT formations. Allows overhead protection in stairways, allows for response to previously unidentified lethal threat. Goes with team members when they break away from stack.

The ADG Patrol Shield comes standard with:

• (1) UL Level 2/NIJ Level III-A armor panel, UV coated black.
• (1) 1” LED tactical flashlight
• Edge banding to protect shield from impacts.
• Forearm pad for impact protection to the user.
• Adjustable ballistic nylon forearm strap.
• Adjustable high strength bungee strap.
